Based in Toronto, Paul Belyea supports Humanist Canada’s members and officiants as their main point of contact and co-host of the New Member Orientation and Best Practices Nights. As a former school crossing guard of nine years, he’s passionate about community building and storytelling.

Paul is also a podcast host, frisbee golf enthusiast, and is currently writing a book capturing the funny, honest, and insightful things children shared while waiting to cross the street—offering a deeply humanist reflection on empathy, connection, and the everyday stories that shape our communities.
