Karmie is a Humanist chaplain, academic leader, and advocate for inclusivity, equity, and social justice. As Director of Research and Innovation at St. Clair College, she leads initiatives that foster research-driven community engagement and mentorship.

Her work empowers marginalized communities and supports young people through education and opportunity. Karmie’s journey is rooted in a deep philosophical quest to understand knowledge, belonging, and ethical engagement.
