Opportunity: Officiant Training Coordinator
Humanist Canada is seeking a highly organized, tech-savvy, and mission-driven Officiant Training Coordinator to oversee the administration, delivery, and evaluation of our premier Officiant Training Program. As a vital bridge between aspiring officiants, volunteer instructors, and leadership, you will ensure the seamless execution of two training cohorts per year.
This role is ideal for an experienced Humanist Canada Officiant who is passionate about mentorship, possesses exceptional administrative chops, and thrives in a virtual learning environment. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of Humanist officiants, maintaining high standards of data integrity, and upholding the core values of our organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Certified Humanist Canada Officiant: Minimum two-year experience as a practicing officiant with Humanist Canada and demonstrated volunteer experience and organizational knowledge of Humanist Canada.

Administrative Excellence: Proven experience in program coordination, preferably in a non-profit or educational setting.

Tech Proficiency: Expert-level comfort with Zoom (breakout rooms, polling, recording) and CRM software (Neon CRM or similar).

Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead volunteer instructors and provide constructive, empathetic feedback to candidates.

Organization: Exceptional ability to manage complex schedules, multiple deadlines, and detailed documentation.

Remuneration & Terms
The Officiant Training Coordinator is an independent contractor position. Remuneration is set at a flat rate of $1,500 CAD per 6-day training cohort session. This rate encompasses all associated prep work, cohort administration, intake support, and post-session evaluation duties for that specific training block.
